Why is the underlined? I have no idea...
So every year I promise myself that Christmas traditions don't necessarily need to involve baking. We try to eat organic, wheat, and sugar free. But every year pictures of kids decorating Christmas cookies infiltrate facebook, etc, and the guilt sets in. I gave in again this year and I think the results are HILARIOUS! I have to laugh or I'll cry... Family Fun magazine had pics up of these adorable little cupcakes that had reindeer heads on top of chocolaty domes. I tried to find a work around to all the sugar and bought a wheat free cake mix and icing. The m&m's are real as are the pretzels. The icing would not stay put! It kept oozing down the sides. I didn't have a full size muffin tin so the mini cupcakes I made would not hold the toppings. I didn't want to buy tootsie rolls for eyes as the recipe suggested so I thought the m&m's would work. Oh my... While Ella was putting hers together I could not stop laughing! She was on the verge of crying when I finally got control... The next day they all said they had fun and hopefully it will be a memory regardless of the less than perfect results, right? :
